Integral to our work at Bush Heritage Australia are our partnerships with Aboriginal Groups on their land and sea, and Traditional Custodian groups on Bush Heritage reserves. Our approach to land management demonstrates the importance we place on walking together to protect and heal country, being led by Traditional Custodians’ deep-held knowledge of natural ecology, sophisticated land management practices and culture. 

We recognise the value of Traditional Knowledge, making it a pillar of our decision making and blending multiple knowledge systems to provide the evidence base for progressive, future focused conservation management.
