Our Partners

Who Do We Work With?

We strive to work with partners who prioritize partnership with Traditional Owners, collaboration to meet a common goal, and impact maximization.

All partners are selected and approved by our Board of Directors.

Bush Heritage Australia is a leading not-for-profit conservation organization that protects ecosystems and wildlife across the continent. They use the best science, conservation, and right-way knowledge to deliver landscape-scale impact. They are on the ground, working with Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people and the agriculture sector to make sure their impact is deep, sustainable, and collaborative.

The Karrkad Kanjdji Trust (KKT) is a philanthropic trust that was established by Traditional Owners of the Warddeken and Djelk Indigenous Protected Areas in 2010, to support their vision for healthy Country. As custodians of much West and Central Arnhem Land—one of the largest Indigenous estates in Australia—they innovatively recognized the potential strength and increased freedom and flexibility of alternative funding sources.

Today, KKT partners with over a third of the ranger groups in Arnhem Land and remains governed by a majority First Nations board consisting of representatives from these partner organizations. Over the years, KKT has remained true to the organization’s founding purpose: to connect its partners with the strength of philanthropy so that they are wholly resourced and supported to manage the 6.5 million hectares (nearly 251,000 square miles) of land and sea Country that they care for.
